🏢 Organization Setup

As an Administrator, you can create, view, and update organizations within the Valet in a Box platform. Each organization acts as a parent entity for its valet sites, employees, and reporting structure.

  • Allows for the creation of new organizations
  • Supports modification of existing orgs
  • Provides centralized visibility into organizational records

Step-by-Step: Creating an Organization

  1. Navigate to the Organization Management screen from the sidebar.
  2. Fill in the following fields:
    • Org Name
    • Address
    • Contact Phone
    • Owner (name or ID)
    • Contact Email
  3. Click Create Organization.

Once submitted, the organization appears in your list and is confirmed with a success banner.

Viewing and Editing Existing Orgs

Click View Details to open an existing org and make changes. You can update its name, contact, or ownership details.

Pro Tips

  • All organization IDs are system-generated and immutable
  • Make sure to double-check email and phone formatting
  • Orgs must be created before assigning employees or sites
